If the pattern of inheritance for a trait is complete dominance, wht would a heteorzygous's be?

If the pattern of inheritance for a trait is complete dominance, then an organism heterozygous for the trait would normally express

a the recessive trait, only

b the dominant trait, only

c a blend of the recessive and dominate traits

d a phenotype unlike that of either parent

B, the dominant trait. This is the simple example of a Tt plant being Tall in mendels experiments. If you crossed a TT plant with a tt plant, ALL progeny would be Tt and every phenotype would appear tall.

you only get a blending of phenotype when you have "incomplete dominance".
Reply:b. The definition of a dominant trait is one where only one copy of the gene is needed to show that trait.
